Ok, I went into disc management. It detects the HD and finds that it's using an ATA133 RAID capable adapter, but it won't let me create a partition on it.

Any ideas?

Ok, Got it to work. I had to assign it something first. Forgot the option.

Anyway, one quick question. What does "Upgrade to Dynamic Disc" Do?

Basic format- creats a partition on the disk

Dynamic format- continues a partition onto the new disk, if your using 2 or more disks in dynamic format... example 120gig formated in dynamic + 80gig formated in dynamic = 200gig partition witch will apear as 1 disk in mycomputer.

dynamic is also used for raid.

if your just using them to store stuff on, i would stick with basic.

iv never used dynamic b4, but im thinking there maybe complications if u start having problems with 1 HD, it may not allow u to access the partition on the 2nd HD... like i said iv never used it, but thats wat i would be afraid of.
