The HD in my lappy died sometime last year, and the IT guy at work has had it for almost a year. Claims to be busy. Can't say I blame him, he actually is.
Anyways, I'm going to be going to China next month, and I want my laptop to make the trip with me (sentimental value, you know?

I'm thinking about getting a Western Digital Scorpio to replace whatever is in there now. I've used plenty of WD's in the past and have had nothing but good things to say about them.
However, I know pretty much nil about laptops. Do they all (and especially this one) use the 2.5" EIDE drives? i.e. will the Scorpio fit?
