Default I need a Sound card for Sonar 4

Hey All. I'm building a computer for a guy at work and he wants to set up a recording studio at home. However, I'm not really sound card oriented. Everybody that i have talked to have recommended sound blaster audigy2 but there are multiple cards in that series ranging from 80 - 200 dollars. Could someone tell me which is more practical for Sonar 4 and why? Thanx in advance.

went to new egg and tried comparing this:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-162&depa=1

to this:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-164&depa=1

I know there is a difference, but will i be losing bells and whistles that the guy mentioned above won't need?

I'll probably end up getting him the higher end card just to be on the safe side.
