i need help with my hd!!

i think i caught a virus or sumthing. my pc started having problems some time aftre i updated windows and one time that i had to restart it, it didnt want to load saying that NTLDR was missing. i had the bad idea to scan my drive with scandisk and it created a lot of numbered folders with useless files in them. i bought a new hard drive and installed it and i looked at my old one. the disk show that the last partition only is accessible b/c it says that my drive is a 16gig (the win98 partition) and my disk is a 20gig. i looked at the folders and i attached the result here. i tried to run Norton Disk Doctor on it but when it comes to check free space, it seems to always restart and after an hour (of the free space checking) it's not finished yet. now can i do sumthing to get back my old files??

maybe it might help if you removed some of the new updates

maybe you wanna try that disk checking in safe mode...perhaps it wont loop that way?
