the alt + 3 numbers technique also creates some very interesting passwords and after exceeding 8-10 characters become very tough to crack

Well, all you need to do is run the rd command while using the same alt command you used to create it.

RD hahaha alt 255

But those sales men had no idea thats how you do it.... I also use to do that at my school.

I think this thread has proven a point...ya can't BS a techie. Also I learned that there is still SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much I don't know and probably never will without some guidence. Damn, so much to learn so little time to do it.
