Default I got the wrong HDD!

So I accidentally got a SATA hard drive when i had IDE connectors on my mobo. So I remembered there were ways to use it even though i have an IDE mobo. So would this work on my PC? Also will it detect the drive on first boot up without the controller drivers installed. (It'll be the first time it will be turned on, custom built)?

Yes, it should work, but I recommend you get this one instead:
