Default I dont see the diffrence

ok AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16819103529
AMD Athlon 64 FX55 San Diego - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16819103527
And there are also some X2's..

Both Great Right? But whats with the massive price jump when i looked at specs i didnt see MUCH of a diffrence?

Not much experience with the FX55 but I think it is to do with what it is capable of and overclocking possibilities.

If it wasn\'t for Electricians you would be using your computer by candle light

The FX series have a superior architecture...clock per clock it'd be faster than the 4000+ although really close....plus the FX can be overclocked pretty good, especially with the new san diego cores in em so they'd basically make one helluva beast CPU...

I'd be happy with either though lol...a 4000+ SD core chip OC'd wouldn't be a chump either.
