so can anyone clarify this? if CRT's will display vista. is this only for LCD's?

As far as I can understand it is some kind of DRM that limit's the output resolution if the display/monitor or graphics card do not support HDCP.
But I am sure it will be cracked, and my 1600x1200 maximum resolution is enough to display most HD media at it's full resolution, I guess.

so wait... HDCP is just a connection that makes your movies and games look MUCH better at high resolutions?? so people would only need it if they have a huge monitor? if i play games at 1280x1024 then i wouldnt really need it right?

HDCP is a format that is sent via a DVI output.

So they say I've used every Vista release to date and they haven't included that feature yet as far as I can see that doesn't mean it will be added latter but the "feature complete" Vista doesn't have it so I don't see it being added.
