i can not find drivers for motherboard - Techist - Tech Forum

Default i can not find drivers for motherboard

hi i got after a format of my pc i downloaded sisoft sandra to recognise the motherboard and the pci 56k modem. unfortunately i cannot find the drivers for them. could somebody help? here is what it looks like in sisoft:


Mainboard
Manufacturer : Jetway
MP Support : 2 CPU(s)
Model : P4M266-8235
System BIOS : 07/23/2003-P4M266-8235-6A6LWJ19C-00
Chipset : VIA P4X266/A

any ideas?

look on the board and what kind of chipset is it, its intel right? the numbers on the chipset are what you are going to have to go by. you have to google the chipset numbers to gfet the drivers....

www.driverguide.com , just type in the manufacturer's name and the model number of the board and they should have all the driver's you need.

there is a misunderstanding somewhere along the lines. anyway.
all i did was to run the sisoft sandra. that program found out the details. now could someone pinpoint me to the correct drivers please?

as for your chipsets VIA 4in1 should be what your looking for

The PCI Modem you will need to find elsewhere .Look on the Modem board for a model number or on the chip .Then google search for some drivers or look at driverguide.If its not to old the Modem manufacture will have your drivers .

ok. that fixes the via chipset. what about the soundcard that it is onboard?
