Default Huge startup problem

ok. so this is wat happened. one day i started up my computer and i entered my password and stuff but wen i got into the windows, nothing loads up except for my wallpaper so i formatted my computer and started from fresh. but i still have the same problem just a few minutes ago. so i did system restore and now its fine.but i have a feeling its gonna to happen again... anyone no wat might the problem be?

Did you delete all partitions and create new ones? Did you do a full format, or a quick format?

i did a full format. this happened to my uncle and my brother too.

Is this a legal copy of Windows XP on a cd that isn't labeled in sharpie?

uhhhh. i can't tell u that my cd is burnt or copied.. but all i no is that it has nothing to do with the windows xp cd. but i can tell u that the cd is legal.
