wow thnx... i'll show this to my friend =]

ok i told my friend about it and he wants to make sure that if he wants to open port lets just say 24001 then he'd input that for private and public? and make it TCP or UDP? he is confused about that part.

and how would he open ports from a range? like range 6000-6200?

UDP or TCP has to be determined by the application that he is using. yes....private and public keep the same. port range....hmmmm, it may be a bit more complicated. i don't have one right in front of me but will get back to ya.
