HP Printer prints in color instead of black over network!!

Hi Peeps,

I'm Struggling with a problem that I just can't seem to get past.

I have 3 pcs on a network all sharing a printer (Hp deskjet 3520).

For some strange reason the two client computers print documents with the color cartridge instead of the black one.

The server prints fine. I have tried updating the drivers and going through the settings but there's nothing that seems to address this problem! Or am I missing somthing simple?

Has anyone else had this problem?

I am running win Xp Pro SP1a on amd athlon systems.

Any help will be appreciated!!!

When you print from your computer you should get a print dialogue box that pops up. Go into properties or setup and you should be able to tell the printer to print in color/b&w/or both. Choose the b&w option and you should be good.

Ta Erstad, but I've tried all that, there is no option to set it to black & white only..seems HP left this out of their budget range of printer drivers?!?!

And i did download the latest drivers but theres no change...

Any other suggestions?
