Yep,the one samsung issues for it, but it will work natively in some systems without it.

OK, good.

But I did think you misunderstood what I asked. Canon has this sopey little utility that runs in the background and tells you mow much ink you have left. Epsons have this too but Epsons is a real hemmerhoid to get rid of.
Thats why I cringe at the word Epson... I hate Epson... with all my heart.

no sopey little utility

with laser printers best way is just keep track of page count, the printer does that on its own, so do many of the printer spoolers
