No, But definitely if the Mobo is defective it can positively burn up CPU's. My old ASUS was blowing up my CPU's, finally had to take it to the shop to verify it. I was running out of parts and money. In fact I haven't heard anything back from ASUS in weeks nor can I find out any info from them. Anybody here ever send back a defective Mobo to ASUS to have it repaired??
