How to speed up my internet??

Sorry but SpeakEasy is not all that accurate. I tested it and it gave me almost 20mb/s down on a 4mb line. So something is wrong with the testing method used.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 25181 kbps (3147.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 933 kbps (116.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Yet on speedtest.net i get a max of maybe 10mb/s down. So there has to be a discreptency somewhere between the 2 sites. I should mention that i did have a download going through the Microsoft File Transfer Manager as well at almost 1Mb/s down as well. When i just tested speedtest.net it didnt break 1mb/s down cause of the other download going.

Speedtest - 5.29 Mb/s / 1.05 Mb/s

Both to New York (~700 m.).

^that is a relitively small margin of difference, considering it could be much larger. Although i just use speed test.
