Unhappy how to record from vhs to dvd using computer

i have seen microsoft ads showing that you can use xp to record from vhs to dvd...

but what equipment do you need? a vcr, video card?

are there programs needed to move vhs movies to dvd? do they usually come with the tv tuner card?

here are the options for mine, and I can record to dvd format

then use nero or something to burn a dvd video disk

winPVR which comes with Leadtek cards is simple to use and also supports directburn
