Default How is this Possible?

My ASUS probe is showing 24 C for my cpu. (3ghtz prescott)
And 28 C for my motherboard.

How is the motherboard cooler than the CPU?
Isn't this really cool for a Prescott?

Most likely a broken temperature sensor. That's abnormally low

But, the mobo is usually going to be cooler than the CPU. With mine:

CPU: 44C
MOBO: 39C

(Man, I can't type worth beans today!)
