Need a little more info.... What wattage is the Power Supply, how much Ram, is the case a custom job or a basic "beige", and who is the manufacturer of the Motherboard?

From what you have given so far and assuming basic components for the rest.... considering I could build a PC with the same specs brand new for just over $400 with a better video card (they don't make the 2800 anymore) and a faster CDRW (they don't make anything slower than 48x now).. I would say MAX it's worth $300 (if you have lots of Ram and a bitchin PSU) but I don't think I'd pay more than $200 - $250..

I'm sure you probably spent about $1000 on it new, but processors are up over 3GHz now and the other parts are mostly discontinued.. Sorry, I know you were probably expecting more...

Thermaltake Xaser II A5000C (w/ 5 case fans)
AMD 2500+ (OCed to 3200+)
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
1 Gig Corsair XMS low latency pc3200
2x 80g Maxtor SATA (w/ Raid 0)
128Mb Nvidia GeForce FX 5700 Ultra
480w Thermaltake PSU
Video Capture Card ( ROCKS!)
16 Sony DVD Rom
52x/32x/52x Optorite CDRW
