Default How much improvement?

Yeah well newegg screwed me over today. Saw they had a Leadtek 6800gt PCI Express for 270 refurbished, so i said what the hell and ordered it, Well today got my newegg package, open it up and theres a ****ing Leadtek 6800 regular PCI express.

So I installed it while i wait for newegg to email me back to see if i can just pay the difference and get the retail version of the 6800gt. Ran aquaMark and got 1,000 points higher on the GFX than my 6600gt. That seem about right, or should it be higher? Imma try some games out see if its any smoother/faster.

6800 regular is a slight step-up from the 6600 GT, but yeah, I would definately push getting the retail version of the 6800 GT. There is a BIG difference between 6800 regular and 6800 GT. It almost seems like there is never much of a difference moving from 8-12 pipes, but the difference is night and day moving from 12-16.
