How much better would a SATA RAIDED be than a ATA-133

Right now i have a Maxtor ATA-133 7200 8MB as my master

How much better would 2 (probably 7200 8mb) SATA HDD in a Raid 0 be than my current HDD?

Well since SATA is faster than ATA133 to begin with, and RAID0 is susposed to double the speed, I'd say pretty damn fast.

RAID 0 doesn't comen anywhere close to doubling the speed in reality. You will get nice benchmark scores, but the real life performance increase is little to none.

I tried to find the tests I had scene before but couldn't find them. Try search for RAID bechmarks and find one that benchs real life read/write time.
