how hot is amd xp meant to be. mine is 50-60 degrees

I have the 2800 and 3 case fans. Runs about 40-45 C

mine is overclocked to 2600+ speeds and it only runs around 35 - 39 idle

and the hottest it ever gets durring games is around 50,

I must have one heck of a good fan/heatsink

I have AMD XP 2400+ and it works around 52C. I think its all dependent on what fan you use beacause i only have the crappy AMD standard fan that comes wth it?!

The T-breds were known to get pretty hot, mine did especially....the bartons however should be running cooler than what yours is....reseating the heatsink with some better thermal compound could probably help if you haven't already done that.

If you have poor case ventilation and it's getting hot outside that'd also play a role of course
