Default how to find motherboard model

How can I find out the model of my motherboard, so I can update my BIOS

download cpu-z (1.28 is the newest version, the first on the page)

type out the exact model of you rmotherboard

Check the website of your motherboard manufacturer. They should have a page that has BIOS updates.

I found out some information on the motherboard and it says:

Manufacturer: ASUS
Model: HAWK 1.08
Chipset: Intel i810E
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies LTD 2.10 5/8/2001

The best and most reliable way to determine your motherboard's make and series...is to look on the motherboard itself.

I wouldn't trust any application for doing this, since some have been known to get confused.

How do I find out the BIOS ID string?

Where can I go to update the BIOS according to this info?
Also when it said to update my BIOS it said that it should be ACPI compliant.
