Default How do I record tv to my hard drive.

I have a 7800gt that says it has VIVO. I know how to get my computer screen to show on the tv but I want to get whats on my tv to my computer so I can record it to my hard drive. Can I do this without a tv tuner card? Do I need some type of special software?

You could probably use an S-Video cable to view TV on a PC, but i don't know about recording it to the HD or DVD.

VIVO means video in video out. when you got your computer screen on the tv screen that was video out. there should be a TV OUT s-video plug on the back of your tv. then the picture on your tv should show up on your computer screen. i think you may be able to record the tv onto the hdd with some software.
