i have the creative labs live drive ir 5.1 ...old but it works like a champ and the remote is great , i put the dvds in here and run it through the tv nd wala im at the movies , cept i can eat a lot cheaper .
if you can find one , they are real cheap now and you really dont need 6.1 or 7.1 yet for watching movies.
just be careful though gaming that way may be addictive

if its not artifical intelligence, why have it?

Oh, I didn't know Newegg had remotes. **doh!** I browse Newegg regularly, mostly watching AMD64 and Pentium 4 prices, and the nVidia 6800 line. Thanks for the help, those seem cheap enough.

My computer:

AMD Athlon64 3200+ S939
1024MB Dual Channel DDR400 Corsair XMS with LED activity indicators
256MB GeForce 6600 PCI-E by Chaintech
Aspire X-Navigator case with 500W PSU, 6x80mm fans, 1x120mm fan
Gigabyte nForce4/PCI-E S939 mobo
16X DVD±R Dual Layer burner
Memory card read/writer
...and a Led Zeppelin sticker!
