Default How to check for dead pixels..

hey how do i check for dead pixels / backlight bleeding or any other bad stuff on the monitor? keep in mind that i am going to a local store and check so i can't download any programs to check... thanks.

If there are dead pixel's, you will notice... if the screen is white, and there is a small black spec that isn't something on the surface of the LCD, then it is likely a dead pixel.
