Angry How can you turn off DEP?

i have

amd 64 3000 939 how can i turn off the stupid DEP. I cant load my installtion cd for my Ga-kn8f 9 motherboard and i think DEP is the problem.

any other cd works except my instalation cd

1st, whats DEP stand for
2nd, the install cd for ur mobo? XP? what?

k DEP that data protection that some cpus have it. it prevents programs to run codes that will harm essential data to run a stable windows.

mobo= motherboard

the installation cd that comes with the drivers for the intergrated peripheral and chipsets.

XP = windows xp(pro is the one im usign now)
