How can I build my own TiVo?

i've done this and all it really requires is a VIVO video card. if you want a dedicated TIVO equivalent computer this is what you want:

i bought this card from newegg.com for $50. It comes with a remote and bunch of software. I can record TV , i can program times to record when im not there. i has software that allows you to edit shows and make dvds. It has timeshifting so you can rewind live tv. I have my vcr and camcorder hooked up to it so i can pull video off of them.It is not the best card in the world but for the price it rocks. The only thing i dont like is that it only goes up to channell 125 so i cant get HBO. But i hear there are cracks out for it. Simple to use. It has Svideo so i can out put to a tv.
