Default How to boot from USB

I'd like to know if it is possible to boot Windows from an external USB dvd/cd-rom.

I activated the option in BIOS (boot from USB - CDROM)
but it still gives me the message BOOT DISK FAILURE.

I don't think Windows can boot from USB without some tweaking
