hot Temps

I have an lga 775 as u can see from system specs below and i have 3 fans plus processor fan but when i play a game the temps go from an average of 30 - 32*c to 48-50*C is this safe or should i loose some of the overclock

Do you have an aftermarket heatsink and fan on that CPU?

its fine as ling as it doesnt go above 60

nice temps for a prescott if that's stock cooling...i think at idle my comp with a lga skt and prescott core is at freakin 50 c and it's a 3.4....i'm gonna get the 7700 zalman fan for it and oc to match the ram though.

those temps are fine for that cpu.

Hells yea this is stock cooling. but intell says it shoudnt go over 39*c

y would i wanna upgrade it if it is fine and anyway what would i upgrade it with i dont know much about cooling products

that's not bad for stock cooling with that oc there. if you wanna lower your temps get a good ocing hs/fan setup.
