Unhappy Hooking up a gateway laptop, to a printer?

I was wondering how to hook up my laptop to an older HP820C printer. The printer has no usb port just the old big connection, is there an adapter made for this?

Yep. I'm assuming that your printer has a parallel port?
Here's an adapter:

Might want to check HP's website for the most current drivers, just in case.
