you could try a couple of proximity sensors, hook them to your door, put in an inverter thingy... NOT gate i think that is and if the signal breaks the alarm will go off, could also try that magnetically, but there are loads of electronic shops that sell motion sensors, i think you also need some kind of heat sensor as you dont want your alarm going off if something rolls off a shelf or summit like that only when a person moves
