One thing to take into consideration though, you're going to configure a RAID 0 with four drives, which totals 480GB of data storage. RAID 0 is not a RAID in the traditional sense as it is not fault tolerant, and you run a huge risk. If one of those drives fail on you, the data on all four drives becomes unusable.

Intel C2D E6320 / AMD Athlon X2 3800+
Gigabyte 965P DS3 / DFI nF4 Ultra-D
2GB OCZ Gold PC2-6400 / 2GB OCZ Gold PC4000
eVGA 8800GTS 320MB / eVGA 6800GS 256MB
150GB Raptor / 74GB Raptor
2x500GB / 320GB
OCZ GameXStreme 850w / OCZ StealthXStream 600w

ive never had a hdd fail on me, i dont see why raid 0 is such a problem. I have a External 80gb HDD that i use for important backups so even if my hdd fails i still have a copy.

Core 2 Duo E6400, DFI Infinity 975X/G, 2x 512mb DDR2 667mhz, Albatron 7900gt, WD 200gb SATA, Samsung DVD-RW, Silverstone ST-50EF 500w PSU.

I would go with the two 10k HD's for the simple fact that you say its for intense video editing. that difference in speed can save you a load of time in the long run.

Maybe not as much space but deffinatly better speeds. Which when dong intense video editing the speed is important.
Sometimes I wonder if I\'m enough a nerd to do this...

Intel P4 3.6 Intel LGA775 board.
Nvidia BFG 6800 GT OC PCI-e.
Ultra 600W power supply unit.
2 80 gig Maxtor (raid0) 160 gig (bulk)
OCZ 2048MB 4200 DDR2 (2 x1024MB)
ThermalTake. Tornado primary.
19\" LG LCD

@nickbrown sorry your wrong mate, 4 7200rpm drives will pawn two 10000rpm drives for transfer speed. plus there will be a larger storage space, only thing is it might be alittle bit louder and hotter, but thats what u get for high end performance

AMD x2 5000+ black edition at 3.3GHZ zalman cnps 9700-NT
Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 motherboard
3072mb: OCZ ddr800 gold
2x 7800GTX in SLI for 20" viewsonic
OCZ 600watt power supply - plug for my gfs site
