Hibernate

i know how to Hibernate my computer but.. i want to know specifically ALL the pros and cons of doing this, and why this would be useful.

pros...turning off the computer and not having to save everything before you exit....not having to re-boot the computer and take all that time to detect....saving power if ur on a laptop..

cons...none that i can think of

i hibernate my computer every night when i go to bed and start it up the next morning with all my apps still up

Just be sure to save anything you have open in a program before you go into hibernation.

That way, if your comp decides to hiccup and losing the file it stored containing how your computer was before you put it into hibernation, you haven't lost anything (other than the time to reopen your programs).
