Default Hi temp x800 !

"What did worry me is the high temperature both the Pro and XT have. I placed a sensor at the backside of the card and in high load I noticed 69 Degrees C, there have been reports of people seeing 80 Degrees C, when I put my finger on the back of the GPU I almost burned it."

Saw this in a review.
anyone got these cards with probs.

Yea, my card runs at about 67*C under load. These reviews say its normal though, so I'm not worried about it. I just won't attempt any major overclocking to my video card.

Yea, ATI really messed up this series, which is why I repent that I got an ATI card when I could have gotten a 6800 GT for the same price. Oh well, here in about another year/year and a half, it will be time for a new card anyway.
