It is not "Silent" as the name implies. It uses a fan. I have read pretty good reviews on that HSF. It seems to do pretty well.

come to think of it, xp-90/120 are heatpipe coolers too, but they use a fan as well

Maybe the other manufacters have more reviews because people don't give PNY a chance, ofcourse they are going to go for the card with more reviews.

regarding the silent 775 that's just a name it's a ****ing 90mm beast of a fan on a giant copper heatsink with two sweet ass heatpipes on them. pics.

i WILL go above and beyong 4.0ghz on air, that's a promise. probably run like 3.7-3.8 normally though. the memory i have should oc fine with heatsinks, doesn't really matter it's just shit i have laying around. i have three matched pair of 1gb and one single 512. no worries a friend is giving me a pair of corsair xms pc3200

btw my 6600gt is running at 547/997 and 3dmark05's @ 3498
on stock cooling.
