You should take the 160gig seagate SATA out of the (NORMAL RIG) and install it in your (MAIN RIG) with your other SATAII. Put one of your 160 IDE Drives in your normal rig and sell it.

i'm actually considering keeping it, but i really want to get rid of the 2.8HT so i can get a clawhammer.

Intel 550 3.4HT 800FSB 1mb L2 (hope to oc past 4.1ghz on air) -good luck...
Thermaltake Silent 775 HSF with heatpipes - the words prescott, air, silent, and heatpipes don't go together - infact, silent and precott just doesn't go together
Abit AS8 i865PE chipset with uGuru clock for monitoring - abit is good
Crucial Memory DDR-PC3200 2gb (4x512) in dual channel - u got yourself 2 gigs of cheap ram, first, you can't oc good at all with 4 sticks, 2 sticks is ok, but 1 stick is optimal for OCing, also, are you probably can't even run your ram in dual channel b/c of your mobo, those crucial rams have loose timings @ ddr400, so don't expect to overclock much, if you can at all
NEC Floppy Drive - it works..right?
160gb SATAII Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 8mb - very good
2x160gb IDE Western Digital 7200rpm 8mb -good
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 -good choice, you didn't get the value version, however, a cheap turtlebeach woulda done the job
PNY 6600GT 128mb 8x AGP 500/900 (also hope to oc with zalman hsf) - why pny??? u cant oc good with pny; xfx, leadtek, and eVGA are much better at ocing

one last note, winchester or venice >>>>>>> clawhammer
claw hammer sounds cool, but it runs the hottest so it OC's the least

You have any backup of your -

"You can't OC good with PNY; xfx, leadtek and eVGA are much better at ocing?"

?

I got my 550 to 4.1GHz on stock cooling. It ran hot, but it ran. I would say with an aftermarket HSF you could get there.
Thermaltake Silent 775 HSF with heatpipes - the words prescott, air, silent, and heatpipes don't go together - infact, silent and precott just doesn't go together
? The processor itself doesn't make noise. So if you use a quiet HSF setup it will be quiet.

@idiotec - what i meant was silent heatpipes don't cool very good b/c they don't use fans, sure they're silent, but prescotts already run hot on stock air, and on silent heatpipes, who knows what temps they'll hit

@apm - take a look at futuremark's site and xtremesystems

looking @ first page on futuremark for 3dmark03 with all drivers, the ones that mention the card brand are leadtek, chaintech, and xfx

most people that buy on teh egg are smart enough to research cards on their own; for ex. chaintech, evga, and xfx have the most reviews

The only issue i have with this card is that the RAM speed isn't 1000MHz stock, it's 900. Thankfully with the latest omega drivers, i got the speeds up to 545 core and 993 RAM. Still a good card tho

nubius got his eVGA from 500/900 to 5xx/11xx, which is way higher compared to this guy

It is not "Silent" as the name implies. It uses a fan. I have read pretty good reviews on that HSF. It seems to do pretty well.
