PCI-E can sometimes be more expensive and sometimes cheaper.
generally, the 6600 is cheaper in PCI-E, because it was designed for PCI-E. the X800's and 6800's are AGP-designed, and are most often more expensive in PCI-E

Anyone know where to get a higher quality mobo with AGP express? That would save me from spending an extra 100 bucks for a new motherboard when i replace my graphics card.

I have never seen a good company make a mobo that has both. It's all the ones you should avoid sadly.
