I Need To Reformat Windows Is Ther Any Way I Could Put it on the Hardrive With Out It been Deleted

formatting a hard drive erases everything that's on it. This includes Windows

Im gunna set it back to the factory settings 4cds i have is ther any way i could keep some files on my hardrive (i have 14gb of music i cant fit it on a dvd and i dont wanna do this)

Create a partition and move all your files + music you want to keep on your pc there and format the other partition.

Have a look on this site, I assume your using a Windows OS. It's a Microsoft support page and it explains how to use the disk management tool. Don't worry it's quite simple and it explains it step by step. I used it for deleting partitions but it also tells you how to create them aswell, good luck.
