Default help needed choosing new monitor

hello everyone,
i'm new around here and since this is my first post i would like to grab this opportunity and congratulate everyone for their efort in this forum.
good job you guys.

i have started this thread because i want to buy a new monitor.
currently i'm on a dual monitor setup
1) samsung 226bw 22" 16:10 (1680*1050)
2) samsung 940n 19" 4:3 (1280*1024)

i'm thinking on changing the second monitor with a 24" 16:9 (1920*1080)

i have tried googleing around various sources and i have read all about differences between TN VA or IPS technologies
but i'm not really sure what i really need...

mostly the monitor will be used for internet and gaming
although my 22" says 2ms delay i think it's kinda laggy when i play games
but i can't find anything faster than 2ms

maybe some other technology can offer me faster responce times???

i'm not sure about my budget yet but i'm thinking somewhere around $250-$300

can anybody help me decide what i need?
thank you in advance...

are you sure it's not your system that's laggy?
I had that exact same monitor (C panel) and it looked fine to me.

try this 120hz refresh rate monitor.
Acer GD235HZbid Black / Orange 23.6" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen 1080p NVIDIA LCD 120Hz 3D Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 80000:1

no, i'm pretty sure my system is not a problem since i can get 60fps without any dropage.

this monitor seems real good for the money it's worth
120Hz with TN panel
it seems like a nice choice indeed

is there any other monitor close to it so i could choose?
i'm a little dissapointed by it's stand
