help with my gaming build!

hey and thanks, i have about 1300 canadian to builf a gaming comp this summer, now i know its not much but people said i could build an alright sytem with 1300. Now the big game i want to use this for is battle feild 2, these are the system requirements for the game:

Minimum Specification:
CPU: 1.7 GHz
RAM: 512 MB
Video Card: nVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 MB of RAM

Recommended Specification:
CPU: 2.4 GHz
RAM: 1 GB
Video Card with at least 256 MB of RAM

Now this is my build:
Case: Logisys CS-51WSL
CPU: AMD 64 Venice Core 3200+
MoBoFI Lanparty UT NF4-D ATX Nforce 4
Ram:OCZ EL Dual Channel pc3200 2gb CL2-3-2-5
HDD: Seagate 80gig HDD
CArd: eVGA 6600gt
Sound: Chainteck AC

So how well will this comp be able to run the game?? The only things i worry about is:
1. the CPU is onlt 2ghz the game reccomends 2.4
2. what is the CL after the ram and how good is it?
3. How good is the video card? Game reccomends 256mb the card is only 128mb.

The CPU is great, dont worry, it is way more than enough, 2.0GHZ AMD = 3.2GHZ intel. If you can, try and get a 6800GT. I've never heard of Chainteck sound, you may want to get an Audigy2 ZS.

So amd are faster but the numbers lower????

6800GT is pretty pricy, what about a vinnila 6800???

And how is that ram?

Get the eVGA 6800GT, or if you can wait, get the new nVidia cards that are going to come out [forgot what they were called]/

Ram is fine, yes AMD is faster, but clocked lower, vannila 6800 is not good. Even if you have to go a little over budget, try to get a 6800GT. If you really can't the 6600GT is fine. Oh BTW, DO NOT get the new nVidia cards. Their specs are very poor. ATI has nVidia in for this round, if you do wait for a next gen card, get an x900XT. But both the nVidia and ATI next gen cards will be very expensive...

ATI cant get more than 16 pipes working on the x900XT's, making them bad.

Anyways a 6600GT AGP should be able to play the game fine, it wont be very graphically demanding compraed to ot her's

No, they said they cant get the 32 pipes working on the XT, 24 works fine on the pro versions...

obviously ati wont release the cards until they fix the pipeline problems. its just like fixing bugs in software, nvidia probably also has problems they need to solve with their new cards also. they are just farther along since theirs will be released sooner than ati.

QUIT WITH THE GD ATI BASH SPAM!

BF2 will not be as demanding as say Farcry and people run farcry with max settings and 60 frames with a 6600gt. That video card will work fine.
