Do you mean lower the GPU? If you running at 8x try running at 4x. That might stop the hangups. But you will lose some performance.

Ok, here is What happened:

I used PowerStrip and lowered the "ENGINE CLOCK"
from 324MHz to 270MHz, and wallaah
Games are playing very smooth and the system haven't lockup(yet, Crossing my fingers)


Now what??

Does it mean the VGA is defected?
what am i lossing from that Drop in MHz?

i have a x300 se and it runs fine at default core and mem speeds (324/197)

mebe yrs is getting to hot, as it does have a fan does it.

mine is pci-e. i didnt know u can get and agp version of this particlar card

It is a PCIE not AGP

I took it back to the store since i only had it for a month or so, and replaced it with nVidia 6600.....No more messing with ATi

I know before i ever used ATi there are Crappy, but i never imagined they suck that bad (this is my own opinion) i have always been satisfied with nvidia chip, and now i am back to it...



Thanks for all the Replys and help. I got more "Support" that those idiots at ATi support who til now keep sending me the SAME EMAIL over and over.
