HELP! Monitor Makes A High Pitched Beeping Sound When In Game

HELP!
Whenever I start a game up my computer monitor starts making a very high pitched continous beeping sound that doesn't stop until I exit the game. It never used to do it before until recently. HELP ME PLEASE!

First - Check your warranty.
then
Get some earplugs.. (*they are cheap*)
Start saving for a new monitor (*not so cheap*)....

is your monitor brand happen to be NEC? my new nec 19inch multisynch 97f monitor di this when playing yuri's revenge (not a 3d game) for a day or so. it went away by itself and is working perfect so far.

its a phillips. and i've only had it for 1.5yrs

happens in every direct3d game. EVEN STARCRAFT! Only game that has no problems is half life since it is on opengl

Phillips 107E Monitor and a GeForce4 Ti4200 128mb ddr ram video card. This problem only started happening recently and I did nothing different. I have moved it around alot going back and forth to and from college.
