Help me please

hey guys

hears the problem:

The computer ihave the now is called a e-cube, and everything isrunning fine, until i want sound

now everything is installed properly but i can only hear sound when i connect my speakers through the "headphones" connection on the motherboard, and even then is very very little sound, ive tried everything, dunno whats happened.

any suggestions?

Where do you want to connect your speakers? What kinds of connections does your motherboard/soundcard have. Are you trying to connect the speakers to a PCI soundcard or the onboard soundcard? What are you system specs?

Do you have a sound card? Or is it onboard sound? Are you sure you are using the right jack in the back?

its onboard sound, although i have a geforce graphics card.

2.40 GHZ
256 Ram
120 GB hard drive
geforce graphics card

ive tried every jack on the computer to get sound and the onlyone working is the headphones one

What motherboard do you have? Liz

It might be that the onboard sound only has one jack, meaning it is probably made for two speakers. How many jacks do you have?

Yeah, built-in sound cards cant produce much sound out of their headphone pin..I have the same problem.

My soundcard only has one line-out with a headphones symbol. Its both for heaphones and speakers.
