Question Help Me!!!!

Right i dont no much about computers (just enough for what i do) but i need a full upgrade specification for this system. any help would be greatly appriciated.

· ATX Mini Tower Case with 350 Watt PSU
· AMD K6-200 Processor
· Socket 7, ATX Motherboard
· 32mb RAM (72 Pin SIMM)
· 1gb Hard Disk
· Windows 95
· 15” SVGA Monitor (1024 x 768 max)
· 1mb Graphics Card (640 x 480 max)
· Soundblaster PCI 128 Sound Card
· AT Connection, Standard Keyboard
· PS/2 Connection, 2 button Microsoft Mouse
· 1.44mb Floppy Disk Drive
· 8x IDE CD-Rom Drive

There is no limit on price.

It's time for an entirly new computer. To make a good call on a new system we will need to know what you use the computer for, gaming, wordprocessing or video editing are the main reasons.

yeah, you should just buy a whole new pc, btw, really 1 gb hard drive? thats freakin sweet. when did you get this pc?

Now that if I re read your first post, money is no ibject? These are the type of computers these guys love to reply to . Anyway, for what you want to use it for I would go with an Intel P4 processor unless you are partial to AMD. Let me know which brand CPU you want to go with. Also do want something thar is proven stable or something that is breaking edge and may still have some bugs?

In that case I'll recomend one close to what I have, it can do all you want and more and still has a good many upgrades possable.

CPU:

Video Card:
Someone else will have to recomend a video card for you, I'm not sure what one would be good for you.

Any optical drive you may need (CD-ROM,CD-RW, DVD etc.)
