Default Help with getting Microsoft Excel

I just got a new Dell computer that has windows XP. It didn't come with MS Excel But I do have it on my work laptop. Can anyone tell me where to look on the laptop to copy the file to my PC? I can't seem to find where it is located. Thanks!

you will have to install excel on the new computer from a CD. there isn't a "file" really that you can simply transfer over.

lol.... yeah..

that's what i tried to do like years ago. I thought if i could copy the program files folder and some shortcuts i would be able to open programs on other comps but never happened.

It's the beginning of all computer knowledge when you begin to realize it's not that simple.
