Default help with cpu upgrade

I have a Jetway bx2000 motherboard. Upgraded to plll 933mhz slot 370 and pc133 128 mb sdram. Now the thing wont boot. fans and hdd run, no beeps, no display. Looking in the motherboard manual, it vagely (sp?) says slot 1 pll and plll and slot 370 celeron. Do some mainboards require certain types of socket canfig. to work with different cpus? This motherboard has both slot 1 and 370.
