My Ultra X-Connect is actually quite decent (yes, its modular). The power readings very rarely fluctuate, and i seem to stay on about 30a on the +12V.

At the same time, i wouldnt recommend one. there are bette options out there

That's what I use in my machine, the Ultra X-Connect... I like it, I've experienced no problems with it, but it is true, it will hinder the flow...
