Help with buying LCD

I was just wondering if you guys could tell me if this LCD is worth buying.

I know that the response time is good and everything else looks pretty good. Anythign that is bad about it?

Well after looking at some of the reviews. I would consider another one.

I would highly recommend a viewsonic or a samsung monitor best monitors for a decent price.

Yea i noticed that it was analog input other then digital. Im guessing that what makes it worse?

I haven't seen an LCD where you can't connect via DVI. Most LCDs allow for both analog and DVI. I would assume that that Samsung is DVI compatible. You obviously also want to make sure that your GPU has a DVI out.

I was surprised to learn that this monitor did not have a DVI input, but I guess you can't have everything. I don't suppose it makes much difference anyhow, as other factors beside analog-vs-digital input must be considered when judging the overall quality of an LCD monitor. My monitor arrived with a couple of dead pixels, but they are far apart and not very noticeable. Those minor gripes aside, it's a good deal and a fine monitor for what it costs.

I would go with another monitor. DVI is a big plus where you don't have to adjust your screen width/height.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 730b(17inch) and it runs everything fine. I play games on it all the time.

^^^ that dell right there is suprisingly great. my neighbor has 2 of them and i was very impressed when he showed me them.

Any idea on what the response time for the dell is?
Also, do you think it would be abad idea to buy off ebay for lcds?

There are some good Samsungs out there but newegg dosent sell them (930b/913t)
