Why didn't you just bump your other thread instead of starting a new one?

i'll take a random stab and say R8000 is $850 US

you'll never get NEAR a dream gaming comp with this amount of money

your computer is fine (although is it just me being blind or do you have a 1.44" drive listed and NOT ram listed??).

get a 6800gt to make it better. otherwise you'll be wasting money for now.

you COULD go for an SLI system, but that's not really advantageous yet.

by dream do you mean "works REALLY well" or "is ungodly expensive"??

for $850 you can get a damned nice system. especially if you have parts leftover from another computer to salvage. i'm taking out my monitor, gpu and 2x120gb sata hdds from the computer i'm using right now for my new a64 3400+ dtr system.. the rest is going to cost $600. and it'll be running at 2.6ghz+
