Default Help, Boot Problems

Well, I just installed 3 lighted/UV Reactive fans in my case, replacing 3 existing fans. I also put in a Xoxide Meteor UV lamp. The computer booted fine the first time, and then all the sudden shut off for no reason. When I tried to boot again I just got a long beep falled by two short beeps. The UGuru Post Code numbers showed a 9C which I cant find anywhere in the manual. Anyway I unplugged the two 3 fans and the light, and it booted fine. So whats going on? Is my 520 Watt PSU too weak to light those things? I though they only took around 5 Watts each? Or did I just buy a piece of crap PSU? Here are the fans, and light I bought and installed. I hope its not a weak PSU cause I don't want to pay for another one.....

What you see in my Sig is what im running, plus those 3 fans and that 1 light I mentioned. I cannot find the voltages for the PSU anywhere on the net, and the way the PSU is designed, they got it facing the top the case. They also don't list it anywhere on the box. Is there any program I can download to tell the voltages on the 12+ Volt rail?

well according to what im reading here:

http://www.athlonxp.com/modules.php?...ire_as520.html

this psu should be pretty solid and should power the things ur throwing at it... perhaps you got a faulty unit... maybe u shud rma it or try putting in another psu and see if it'll work... but im pretty sure u have a faulty unit... are the fans turned all the way up using the fan controller?

Yeah, the fans on the PSU are running at full speed.

Well, it turns out one of the fans is dead. I started plugging them in, individually, and one of them was causing it not to boot. Im glad its not the power supply. Its a lot easier to pick up a 3 dollar fan, then having to buy a decent power supply for $100.
